1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EmailProbe (emailprobe.dev), including our API at api.emailprobe.dev, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and EmailProbe. By creating an account, generating an API key, or making API requests, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

2. Description of Service

EmailProbe is an email validation and disposable email detection API. The service provides real-time analysis of email addresses to detect disposable, temporary, and fraudulent email domains through multi-layered intelligence including domain blocklist lookups, MX record analysis, IP clustering, and pattern detection.

EmailProbe offers the following plans:

Plan features, limits, and pricing are subject to change. Current details are available at emailprobe.dev/pricing.

3. Account Registration

To use EmailProbe, you must create an account. You agree to:

You are solely responsible for safeguarding your API keys. EmailProbe stores API keys as SHA-256 hashes and cannot recover lost keys. If you believe your key has been compromised, revoke it immediately and generate a new one.

5. Data Usage & Crowdsourced Intelligence

When you submit email addresses via the EmailProbe API, the following occurs:

This aggregated, anonymized data is used to improve detection accuracy for all EmailProbe customers. This is our crowdsourced intelligence model -- the more data flows through the system, the better it becomes at identifying disposable and suspicious domains.

If you wish to opt out of contributing to crowdsourced intelligence, contact us at support@emailprobe.dev. Note that opting out does not affect the service you receive; it only prevents your query patterns from improving detection for others.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property associated with EmailProbe is owned by EmailProbe, including but not limited to:

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the API in accordance with your plan and these terms. This license does not grant you ownership of any data, algorithms, or intelligence produced by the service.
